Scotland yard have apologised and paid out compensation to 7 women who were deceived into having 'abusive, deceitful, manipulative and wrong relationships with undercover police officers.

"The scandal came to light in late 2010 when Mark Kennedy was unmasked as an undercover police spy who had a 6 year relationship with a woman known as Lisa Jones as well as relationships with 2 other women.
Last year an animal rights activist was awarded a payout of £425,000 when she dropped legal action against ex detective Bob Lambert. She had given birth to his child in 1985 not knowing he was married with children".

I wonder if it still goes on. It sounds like their superiors knew exactly what was going on.
It must be horrendous to unknowingly live a life with someone who is playing a part....just to get info from you.

Yes they should....it's a pretty disgusting way to earn a living, and the wives and families of the police who acted this way are victims too.
