Why am I so stupid????!!

I was feeling well please with myself after saving a lot of money on something I bought today.....
So
I decided to give my kitchen a spring clean and wanted to move my Mathmos Lava lamp.
It was on, and therefore HOT
I picked it up and dropped it!!!!! I love that lamp!!
Had to buy a new one and spent the money I had saved today!!
I'm so bloody stupid!!! Who picks up something, knowing its fecking hot???
Me. Dumbass me that's who.
So annoyed with myself. I do stupid shit like that all the time.

If it was a one-off I wouldn't mind rags!

Yes, quite a lot eddie. It's a terrible feeling afterwards - quite overwhelming.

been looking lately at the law of attraction and how it works
every time you say something negative like that above you are sending out a negative vibration and you are kind of affirming that 'you do it all the time' so that's why it 'always' seems to happen. you're stuck in that mindset

i say "smelly bandit, do not drink this final shot of JD honey" and yet like a puppet slave of the demon drink i neck the shot in a oner, the next morning, the demon that was in the drink is now in my head and doing his level best to smash his way out of my skull with a sledge hammer, shouting and screaming like a drunken lunatic all the while.
other times, i say to myself, "smelly bandit she is a hippocrocapig and weighes more than you do in full battle dress, and looks like she has taken more then one pick helve across the face in a bar fight, this is a bad idea my friend"

Well thanks for the stories and advice
I'll definitely stay away from shots of JD and hippocrocopigs and try and engage brain before hands.

The point is that eddie is back to square one. Having gone without something in order to save money, she's ended up no further forward.

Actually I think I may have scared the man on the phone at Mathmos.
He said. "Sorry to hear that" after I told him my whole sorry tale (like he needed to know I'd saved money and spring-cleaned my kitchen?)
So I said "No you're not sorry. Stop saying that"
And he replied "no I really am"
Me: "No you're not, you're making money out of this"
So he says he really isn't, because he only works for Mathmos and he isn't actually, Mathmos the company, and that really, I sounded like a nice lady and he could tell I loved my lamp.
I should've asked him to marry me. He was so patient.
