That even if honor killings were a teaching of Islam (they aren't, they're carried over from older traditions, as Veya pointed out), Christianity and Judaism teach the exact same thing.

You get on fundamentalist Muslims for doing things like this but the only reason Christians and Jews don't do the same things (at least not all the time; but you do see plenty of cases where people follow these kinds of rules) is that they don't actually live by what their religions teach.

To act like the only people who have ever done things like honor killings are Muslims is a hypocritical lie.
