The reality of Germany's open arms approach is finally dawning on them

The huge influx of migrants into southern Germany has continued unabated, with the Munich police reporting 12,200 arrived on Saturday.

But the city authorities have again warned they are at "the limit" when it comes to coping with the numbers.

"We have reached the upper limit of our capacity," a police spokesman said, as frantic efforts were under way to accommodate the new arrivals.

Germany's interior minister is making it clear that migrants wouldn't get to choose what country they go to under a proposed European Union quota system to share the burden of new arrivals.

Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere was quoted Sunday as telling the Tagesspiegel daily that if refugees get protection in Europe they must accept being distributed around the EU.

He said "there can be no free choice of residence for refugees. That doesn't exist anywhere in the world."

Officials in Munich were putting up tents but say their capacity to house the newcomers arriving from Hungary via Austria is being stretched to the limit. They are calling for more help from other places in Germany.

Germany has reintroduced border controls along its border with Austria in a move that represents a part suspension of one of the founding principles of modern Europe: free movement of people.

Controls have been brought in on road crossings and Germany has stopped train traffic from Austria in an attempt to slow the influx, which saw 13,000 people arrive in the country on Saturday, followed by another 3,000 on Sunday morning.

Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said: "The aim of these measures is to limit the current inflows to Germany and to return to orderly procedures when people enter the country."

The move illustrates the strain Germany, which has said it expects 800,000 asylum seekers to reach the country this year, is under as it continues its policy of welcoming migrants.

nobody hates them we just don't have the room or the money to keep them . We had some stupid Labour candidate saying yesterday that it doesn't matter if we have to wait another week for a hospital appointment and we need to accept these people until we are full to overflowing and we should pay more into the country to keep them

No, that is not what I said. I said that whites cannot be the victim of racism. Racism requires that there be real social disparagement--a privileged party or parties looking down on another group based upon race.

Social disparagement can only be built over time. It needs a history. Thus, there is no movement behind the idea of 'white racism' as there is no such history.

I absolutely agree. The next question is, Why? It goes back to what I was saying on another thread: conservatives not only have to deal with issues and ideas, but with the extra baggage of an ideology--selfishness.

This was entirely the wrong message to be sending and has not only started a mass migration that is wrecking havoc through southern Europe but also encouraging people to make perilous boat journeys and many that will end in death.

ALl totally unnecessary as these people are already in safety and security in turkey and being looked after.

They are therefore already safe from war and no longer refugees fleeing war but economic migrants driven by greed.
