well it appears that unite now own 63% of labour MP's and will be appointing their own man for leader again. Woo hoo more tory victories.
of the 220 or so labour mp's 147 are either sponsored by unite or financed by them. Is it any wonder that as a party they are totally unelectable these days. Long may that continue.
chuckka umna has decided to call it a day due to not being able to cope with the pressure, although it is more likely not being able to gain the 35 mp to back him.
It would seem that labour should go the whole hog and rename themselves.
my suggestions would be
LenIte
Unelectable
or just plain
Unite
what do you think about a union buying up a party and making it unelectable. Me I think it is a bad day for democracy. but an excellent day for great britain.

Very funny, with a Conservative Party run by big business and Murdoch, thanks for the giggle.

Does Murdoch call for strikes at the drop of a hat, is he intent on destroying Britain? In our days Unions are a curse, money grabbing idiots.

Are you suggesting that is a good thing for democracy?

yes donors dont actually sponsor mp's though do they, they donate. Unite either sponsors or directly financially assists 63% of MP's.Handy Andy wrote:www.thebureauinvestigates.com/2011/09/30/the-biggest-conservative-donors-from-beyond-the-square-mile/
