Here's What Happened When Some Folks Threw A Dance Party In A New York City Subway Car
Tired of the dreary, impersonal nature of the New York City subway, a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and his friends decided throw a party in a train car.
“Riding the New York subway is like walking into a freezer. It’s cold. People don’t engage one another. We often avoid even making eye contact with others,” wrote Meir Kalmanson of AMK Productions on YouTube. “So we decided to ‘warm’ things up by throwing a DJ dance party!”
In the video above, which has gone viral this week, watch unsuspecting straphangers of all stripes get roped into the surprise fête.
It seems the party was a roaring success.

Music will always bring life into a room.
It just simply speaks to everyone.
This is brilliant, wish they'd do it more often.
