This Ed Miliband interview is so good we can’t believe it’s real - complete fun

This morning, when England woke up, everything felt different.

No-one could quite tell what was happening, but something was in the air – something new.

One by one, people started being touched by The Light.

Soon, the Chosen Few were spreading their message, and at first, those who did not know were confused.

Yesterday, Ed Miliband gave an interview to Absolute Radio.

It was not, however, just any interview: in this interview with Absolute Radio, Labour party leader Ed Miliband came across well.

He chatted and laughed and made jokes like a goddamn normal human being.

Geoff Lloyd even had a surprise and called up one of Ed’s idols – cricketer Geoffrey Boycott – and his reaction was pretty damn sweet:



Look at the happiness in his eyes!

The pair went on to talk about Ed’s musical tastes (he likes Pompeii by Bastille, FYI), how he’s never played Dungeons & Dragons, and other crucial political stuff.

Look at Geoff Lloyd. Look at how he’s laughing.

Geoff Lloyd is happy he is interviewing Ed Miliband and he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.



Miliband even got quite sassy when told that Cameron likes his curries very spicy.

That’s right, you read that right.

Sassy.



Oh yeah, he went there.

He also said that he in fact never got a Blue Peter badge, even though everyone thinks he did, which is pretty sad.

BUT ANYWAY.

We don’t want to spoil it for you.

All we’re saying is that for once, a party leader gave an interview where he came across as genuine, and quite entertaining, and it was nice to watch.

Maybe we got a bit overexcited about it.

Maybe it’s because we know that a lot of political coverage in the next few weeks will be dull as dishwater.

But deep in our hearts, we now know that it’s possible for politicians to sound like regular human beings.
