This pair of religious bigots seem unable to accept the law of the the land in this country where it clearly states in the 2010 equality act that it is illegal to refuse to provide goods and services to people based on their sexual orientation......Sorry to be rude...but FFS! why can't they understand this and shouldn't the religious bigots that are funding these ongoing court cases (thankfully this is the last one).....They should be spending their funds on feeding the bloody poor or something scratch

What these imbeciles refuse to accept is that this couple are in a civil partnership (the equivalent of marriage in the UK)...So that is why they keep losing their cases and if you read some of the reader comments you will see that it would seem that they are being less than honest when they have been saying that they have been denying straight unmarried couples a room!

We have the same type here in the U.S., claiming discrimination against gay people as an exercise of their religion. I'm afraid it can't hold up to logic; it would be so easy for someone to use that justification to discriminate against practically anybody in any given situation, if you think about it.

"Well, your honor, I was raised in a Christian family and we were taught to wipe your shoes on the mat before you come inside. As these folks didn't wipe their shoes, I had to assume they were godless heathens. I didn't even notice that they're black ..."

The US is full of sick bastards like this illiterate couple. Byron De La Beckwith comes to mind. His type of thinking (or lack of) is what drives the bigots and homophobes. Jesus would be the first to say that they're not His ideas in the Bible. The apostle Paul's homophobia, bigotry and hate ARE in the Bible.
