Copenhagen rocked by two shootings within hours of one another
Three people were shot outside a synagogue in Copenhagen early Sunday morning, hours after a gunman fatally shot a man and wounded three police officers at a free speech event in the same city.
Danish police said one person was shot in the head, and two police officers were injured by gunfire at a synagogue in the Krystalgade area of Copehagen, broadcaster DK reported. The police officers were shot in the arms and legs.
Police had not apprehended a suspect from either shootings, and the Krystalgade shooter had fled on foot. Police described the suspect as a male wearing black pants and shoes, along with a gray jacket with a multi-colored portion.
Police were uncertain if the incidents were related.

Can't imagine the shock in a country that, as far as I can tell, almost never has these things.

Until Islamic leaders say it is wrong to kill for taking the piss out of their religion this will continue to grow as a problem.
The problem at the heart of the matter is the belief held in Islam to execute those who insult their faiths. Until those in positions of authorities within Islam address this, it will forever be a problem. The fact is many of them are not going to. They will make some half hearted view to denounce the killings, but they certainly will not denounce Islamic doctrine that supports the death penalty for those insulting Islam. There is the problem and why it is hypocritical of when Muslim leaders condemn such attacks, because they do not condemn the Islamic doctrine which calls on Muslims to execute those who insult Islam.
