Gay Couple's Fabulous Response To Homophobic Graffiti On Their Front Door

No matter how far we evolve as a society, there will always be people who think it’s acceptable to attack you over your sexuality.
Like the scum who carved the word 'faggots' beneath a Christmas wreath on the front door of a gay couple.
While they may well have got mad, these chaps most certainly did get even in the most fabulous way possible.


Their response – via this brilliant note – was posted to Imgur on Christmas Eve.
It reads:

To the individual who scrawled the word ‘faggots’ into our door
We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins, your work looked rushed and your handwriting was positively atrocious.

It is for these reasons we had to remove your work from our door with sandpaper.

Make light of it nicko, for millions of people the word is a constant remind of decades of prejudice, often linked with violence.

I personally hate the word, more than most slurs (most at least demonstrate juvenile creativity...). It is blunt and comes from a nasty mindset, all those God hates fags chants and signs...

Well done this couple for flipping the insult around. People using this word demonstrate only their ignorant and backwardness. I hope their is a hell sometimes, such cretins don't deserve nothingness :-)

I thought it originated as an insult to the dumb/poor/useless, someones that's only capable of making bundles of sticks (a.k.a Faggots for fire and light) old women i guess could fall into the category or even have come from that (general misogyny, a women past raising kids is not good for much) ...
I thought this then also linked cigarettes to the term 'fag' since it is a fire stick.

    AND, there's also another meaning for the word "faggot" - dating back to Olde or Middle Englische :
A collection or bundle of wood, particularly an armful of firewood, sticks, kindling..
