No Benghazi Scandal
Fox News has gone silent on Benghazi amid reports that the House Intelligence Committee concluded that there was no intentional wrongdoing in the Obama administration's response to the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported on August 1 that the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee voted to declassify findings from its investigation into the 2012 attacks on U.S diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, and "concluded that there was no deliberate wrongdoing by the Obama administration in the 2012 attack," according to committee member Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA).
The intelligence community "did not have specific tactical warning of an attack before it happened," the process used to create administration talking points was "flawed" but "reflected the conflicting intelligence assessments in the days immediately following the crisis, and "there was no 'stand-down order' given to American personnel," Ranking Member Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-CA) said in a statement laying out the committee's findings.
It's a clinical, point-by-point refutation of the Benghazi hoax Fox has pushed for nearly 2 years.

Re: No Benghazi Scandal
So, this is how we know (for those who would contradict me, mind you) that Fox News is a conservative-biased organization.
If they weren't, they'd be correcting their record, not going silent about it.
Further, I expect them to start trotting out more bullshit about Benghazi pretty much the moment Republicans tell them to ...

Re: No Benghazi Scandal
This is why my book is titled, Why Republicans Lie. We've known for ages that there was no wrongdoing in Benghazi, that Benghazi was a CIA outpost, not a State Department facility, and that this meant it could not be openly discussed by the administration officials.
It was Tom Izzo, and his Congressional Investigation Committee, Republican of course, that took advantage of the situation to stir the shite. He knew when his committee questioned Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, that there was nothing to it. But he knew that the CIA involvement meant she couldn't even hint at it.
Didn't you ever wonder why David Petraeus, CIA Director, wrote the memo in question that Susan Rice quoted from? No one ever questioned that. Dig people...don't be afraid to ask questions.
Congressman Izzo knew all of that when he tried to torture Secretary Clinton with his faux cross-examination. He was operating from a known set of lies.
Why Republicans Lie! Why? Because they know that they would never score points or get elected if they didn't create a false universe.
