Sorry, but I'm kind of offended that to stoke my patriotism, Netflix thought the best image to choose would be an image of war. I think that's a really unhealthy idea, that love for your country is best evoked by military symbolism.

Netflix is dying. Perhaps that is the message they intend.

The reason Netflix is dying is their product can be obtained remotely. Manned aircraft are similarly on the way out; drones, which are flown remotely, are taking over. It's a metaphor...I get it.

And, Don't Fly Too Fast? Well, that's what Netflix is doing, innit?

How do you reckon Netflix is dying? Isn't it a fact that conventional broadcasters are dying and on demand providers like Netflix are in fact emerging as the victors.

All things conventional are dying due to the Internet, Fred. We don't need the postal system, or any other delivery system to get a physical product to us. The Internet will deliver it, faster and cheaper. I can get any film I want within 5-minutes just sitting here.
