... are you looking at your phone during the Germany game? Are you letting your assistant coaches check theirs?

I doubt very much that when FIFA scheduled these games that they thought it would be such a dramatic two-hour span Smile

For me, I'm going to be interested in whether my Watch ESPN app lets me have one game on my tablet and the other streaming to my TV!

They sure did, I thought the U.S. did incredibly well and definitely gave Germany its toughest game in group, without a doubt.

I thought I'd like the break today but I'm actually craving the beginning of knockout now ... got the South American slug-fests tomorrow during the day and then FC Dallas has an MLS game at night Smile

I watched the Brazil game earlier, but didn't watch the Uruguay game, I only peeked at the score earlier and it was 2-0 Columbia...I knew without the Vampire they just wouldn't do it...

And I think Suarez is incredibly lucky to receive only a 4 month ban!

I just can't understand why such a talented player would bite!!!!

I missed Brazil-Chile because I slept so damn late ... was on NewsFix too late last night! That was the one I had wanted to see more, too Sad

Yeah, Suarez, he shows some of the signs of ego problems like we have with U.S. top-tier athletes -- everybody kisses their ass constantly and they think they can do no wrong ...

It's a complex -- people think they can get something out of them so they throw everything they can at them. Yet another illustration of how power corrupts.

If people wanted a healthy view of how they should treat the wealthy and powerful, they should take a cue from, believe it or not, the media. I was always taught, as a journalist, to treat the most rich, famous person as just like anybody else, a peer, when I was doing a story on them. It is a great antidote to hero worship Smile

Meh...we got the fosbury flop, executed at night while counting over 1239 stars...unparalleled in the annuals of sports/atronomy history.  LOL
