SONY smacks MS at E3

Xbox One $499USD
PS4 $399USD
PS4 no online authentication required.
You can do what you want with secondhand games.
Indie devs can publish themselves.
I think Sony won E3.
Quote:
Tretton says it supports used games, and won't impose any restrictions on games, which gets an enormous applause. Deafening even.
Quote:
"I guess that's a good thing," Tretton says. "When a gamer buys a PS4 disc. They have the rights to use that disc." They can sell it to another person, lend it to a friend, or keep it forever, Tretton says.
Quote:
That's for disc game sales. Lots and lots of applause here, at the expense of Microsoft's recently-announced games DRM program.
Quote:
Tretton adds that games don't need to be connected online to play.
Quote:
"It won't stop working if you haven't authenticated within 24 hours," Tretton goes on.

Somebody's been watching which way the wind's blowing! Good for them.
Meanwhile, Google reserves the right to brick your expensive pair of glasses if you let somebody try them on, apparently ...

MS
Microsoft has their head so far up their ass with the Xbox one it is almost surreal. WTF were/are they thinking? Idiots. Who the heck would try to limit their market so much like they have done? They seriously screwed the pooch on this one.

well Xboxone is already dead.
It is not only well and truely lost the comparison against the PS4 but now most discussion on Tech sites are whether a shoebox is better. You would literally have to avoid looking at the interent to buy an Xboxone (since 100% of consumer reviews Hate it, not just dislike but Hate it) and if you do avoid the interent then you will have a better gaming experience with a shoebox because Xboxone doesn't work with out active internet after 24 hours your shoebox will have more functionality

Re: SONY smacks MS at E3
But don't forget, you can play Call of Duty and watch sports on it ... :D
I always thought the success Microsoft had in the gaming world was a bit surprising, given that they're Microsoft and thus stingy and awful. I guess it took longer than I expected for their true colors to show.
Anybody have any thoughts on the Ouya?
