edit i have about 1.25TB of music stored on the server and networked trough the house can play it on any device or room

Who says anyone is doing that? I'm actually very proud of my ~~mane of pubic hair~~ vast mp3 collection. The YouTube links are for sharing the music with others who might not own the songs.

Which reminds me I'm way behind on my music backlog, it's funny though because my image files take up a lot more space than my music does.

i love technology and as a qualified computer engineer i have access to some pretty cool gadgets and gizmo`s

i take it the images you use. are music CD images that do take a lot of space
its far more economical to rip them to individual music files as a image is generally 700 mb and individual files are less than the sum

yea they can be very big indeed

one of my big collections is for a program I use called guitarpro
i have 2,32GB of tabs in 89,491 files it would take me several life times to play them all
