Anti- Aussies ...

Ober the last week or so, I've noticed some have issues with Australians and their country, while I acknowledge some Aussies may have treated aboriginals as second class citizens over the years, it doesn't speak for all Aussies...

We must remember how Britain treated Africans years before and made them work their arse of as slaves, so it beggars belief how some of these Peckham Pirates and Romford rejects would dare show such discontent and hypocrisy.

Australians have been excellent allies to Britain and the other allies, so pack it in.

I was in the Australian army, was sent to Vietnam,the Aussies I met there were great blokes,they put the yanks to shame.In a war situation I would all ways want a brit or an aussie by my side.Except a idiot like bee, who would no doubt run at the first sight of the enemy.By what he posts here he could not be trusted to back up a British Soldier!!

And really politically we are very new, no federal unity at all until 1901, really Western Australia hasn't fully accepted the resolution until 1974

You also have to take into account that we were 'Post US revolution' colonies so they were all purposely set-up to have very little to do with each other and too far apart to interact (and possibly ferment another revolution). So New South Welshman (me and Bee) had nothing to do with that.

A woman named Truganini (1812–1876) is generally recognised as the last full-blooded Tasmanian Aborigine. Strong evidence suggests that the last survivor was another woman, Fanny Cochrane Smith, who was born at Wybalena and died in 1905.

by 1883 NSW had a more reasonable relationship with the aboriginals than most of the colonies. the last conflict with aboriginals here was in the 1850's. also keep in mind that Aboriginals are actually about 200 different nations so the process of 'first contact' was repeated with each tribal nation. NSW is the oldest settlement. in the Northern Territory the youngest, the last tribe to make 'first contact' was in 1984

Western Australia and Tasmania were the worst, the Northern Territory is bad but that is in part caused by the nothingness, even today politics and the enforcement and implementation of policy is just about impossible as there isn't enough people/water/food/money...  although they are getting better on the money.
