Please discuss.

That is called appeasement, like the Sudetenland Land being handed over to the Germans, to avoid bloodshed and who says all the Muslims here want the country handed over to them and are they all offering threats to this happening if they do not get this mythical demand you made up?

That's what I'm after didge.
I'm really probing to see whether we have changed since the 1940s.
Knowing what we know now - that in large wars millions may die - would the people of Britain stomach such a war in 10 years time?
Would we choose the lives of our families over our country or are we prepared for our children to die to save, well, it's only land isn't it?

Does anyone think that with all the cutbacks in military as well, that if we had no allies and were attacked by a country say...the size of Poland that we would be capable of defending ourselves successfully?...
I know for a tiny island we have always been an almighty force, but as I said ...with these cutbacks and assuming saying we had no allies?

But Andy, you are making a view backed off no reality of how many Muslims are in this country, let alone how many would even back your claim and why will there be a war in 10 years time?
What you are claiming just has little validity and is quite absurd, especially for centuries Muslims have served in the British armed forces.
There is less than 3 million Muslims here, how is there going to be a war in 10 years here?

I don't think we have it in us - the civilian population I mean.
We've become such a liberal country that the decision would be made to save life and hand everything over.
Life is more important, after all, right?

lol the words of a patriot, not knowing how people would indeed react but instead has such low opinions of many.
Now to avoid bloodshed we need to combat all extremism, what we also must not do as you are doing now is not stigmatise groups of people based upon clearly some poor association fallacy perception you have of Muslims themselves. As by casting them with stigmas and if many others did the same which in affect is ostracizing them, then no doubt you would have a recipe for problems ahead, Hence why it is good that many people do not class as you do or have such poor stereotypes as you do. So you sow the seeds by your views, you are actually setting the scene to create bloodshed, by trying to divide nation through fear.
