I've got the Rona
Been feeling a bit rough last few days... Did lateral flow test earlier and it was positive for covid!!!
Feels like a bad cold or bit of flu.

Good luck. It's rolling through pretty strong.
Take a shit load of vitamins and sleep a lot.
If you can get your hands on an O2 meter use it to monitor your oxygen levels..

Ill be fine in a couple of days, already had the original Wuhan Rona Feb 2020 and that was pretty much just like a bad cold/bit of flu too.

Thanks... Not been too bad... Just like a head cold mostly with 2-3 nights that were bit more like the flu with hot/cold sweats and kept waking up etc.

You’ll be fine. Unless you have underlying health issues, it’s nothing more than a bad cold.

They do say that although Omicron is extremely contagious, it looks like a milder version of the virus. This strain gives me hope that the virus is evolving into something less harmful.
I just hope that as it infects people left and right, it doesn't mutate into something deadlier. But looking at the issue both historically and scientifically, viruses are subject to the same principles of natural selection and have a better survival chance when they don't kill their hosts.
I got my booster jab, hope it protects me because I really just don't want to get it. My mother-in-law, who has been really on me about getting vaccinated, joked the other day that soon we'll be asked to get a booster every two weeks
Getting really tired of this pandemic. It came just as I moved to my new country and I really just want to enjoy living in England without having to worry about fucking masks and variants and vaccines.

Vaccines can never guarantee everyone who has them 100 percent immunity. No vaccine has ever single-handedly stopped a disease in its tracks.
Vaccines make it less likely that you will get the disease you've been vaccinated against, making it less likely that the virus or whatever that causes the vaccine will be transmitted to other people.
When enough people are immune to a disease, the disease will die out.
Vaccines increase the number of people who are immune to a disease.

Yes, thanks
I know I'll be fine because I've already had it once back in Feb 2020.
