Three arrested under Terrorism Act after car blast at hospital
Three men have been arrested under the Terrorism Act after a man was killed in a car explosion outside Liverpool Women's Hospital.
Just before 11:00 GMT the car - said to be a taxi - pulled up and exploded shortly afterwards, police said.
The passenger of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
The male driver was injured and is in hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives from Counter Terrorism Police North West said three men - aged 29, 26 and 21 - were detained in Sutcliffe Street in the Kensington area of the city.

Were the explosives in the taxi with the man who has died?
Where were the three men who have been arrested,
It sounds odd.

Taxi driver thought passenger was acting dodgy so he jumped out and locked the doors... The dodgy cnut left inside the cab blew himself up. Taxi driver ended up in hospital from the blast.
Police then carried out raids on a couple of places... And it is said that they raided another place in early hours of this morning.

Thank God the taxi driver acted swiftly. He saved his own life and possibly many others.

In the video shown on the news the driver was in the car when it went off, got out swiftly and left his door open and ran away from the car.
