Normally somewhere to the right of Atilla the Hun and Adolf himself.
Now sucking up to Putin, the treacherous former Ukrainian president and the oligarch mafia.

Perhaps he thinks Putin will spare him if he survives the worldwar and nuclear holocaust.

Two faced are words that spring to mind.

Unsurprisingly, a number of DM colleagues disagree with him.
If he carries on like this Dacre will soon get rid of him.

Just wikied Hitchens,
He is all over the place.
Started far lw. Converted to far rw.
Loved Blair, hated Blair. Not a fan of Thatcher or Camoron.
Hates Russia, but respects them.
An athiest who joined the church of England.
Left the Express because of his conscience - them joined the 2nd most muck raking rag behind the NotW.
Time for the demented dinosaur to retire to Moscow, where he tjinks he will be treated like a king.

^Andy; Hitchens is just bitter that his late older brother (Christopher 'The Hitch' Hitchens) was far more successful and popular than he ever was or will be. His job on the Mail probably influences his acid tongue and the direction he vents it. He is to me first and foremost pro-Authoritarianism- which would explain any admiration of Putin  Twisted Evil

Apparently Peter and Chris opposed each other on most points when they appeared together on QT.
I understand that Chris had a razor sharp brain and rapier wit against the rather tainted opinions of Peter.
It was a no contest that night.

They went head-to-head once; you can find it on Youtube (Hitchens vs Hitchens or something like that); Chris decimated Peter, naturally, to the point near the head Peter was conceding he had no response  Laughing

You do realize that the distance from Far right to far left is much shorter than that from central to either I take it.
