What would you have done?
It’s a really simple question.
I saw a post on a selling place on Facebook today
An ad said it was selling some high quality, toy animal figures for sale.
RRP about £100 for nineteen figures of toy animals, checked it out and it was true.
The advert was selling said animal toy figures for sale, nineteen, for £55.
Someone was interested for full price. Done deal. £55 in the seller’s hand.
Then a teacher, checked out - not a liar - offers £20 because that’s the “school budget” ...
What would YOU do?
You need money, but a heart-warming offer comes through.
Decision?

I’d give it to the teacher. I know about small budgets and also needing money.
I could find money elsewhere or go without something if it wasn’t a matter of life or death.

I spent 25 bucks on beer last night. I'd let the teacher have it for 20.

Re: What would you have done?
In all honesty it would depend on how much I needed the money myself.
In the past there have been times when £35 would have made a huge difference to me, so I would have gone with the highest bidder.

It was me who posted the ad and I immediately decided to give them to the teacher.

Thanks Cass. I wasn’t looking for praise, I just wondered about human kindness. Syl mentioned needing the money, and I did, we do, but I thought about those toy animals being enjoyed and played with by dozens of children over the years, and it was a no-brainer.
