Happy belated VE Day! Empty Happy belated VE Day!

For an American, that was quite a spectacle, and I saw more people outdoors than at any other time since the lockdown began.

I took this photo -- found it really touching to find my country's flag flying in England, to honor one of the Allies (along with the UK and French).

Maybe the best thing about yesterday was the reminder that when we work together, we can stop all kinds of evil and danger.
