Its a film from the 1950's.
I will give you a big clue, I am half Irish and the film is staged in Ireland
Its a famous film as are the two people in the painting

It's "The Quiet man"...I tried to edit my post but I was too late.
I realised that was John Wayne, and his favourite leading lady Maureen O'Hara...so it had to be that film. x

OK....how about "The pride and the passion"? Three main stars all with distinguishing features.

Well duh. Now I see it. Maureen’s hair should have been the big clue. The Judy Garland one is amazing. Did you see the film Judy with Renee? Fantastic film.
