If she really is suffering from early forms of dementia or Parkinson's. Even as much as I think she is a poor labour leader. This is wrong and its even worse that Labour are using her to gain support. If she is truly suffering one of many conditions

What is very wrong here is how labour is placing her up front centre stage. When she is clearly not of possible full faculties and going simple off her popularity through a small local likeability

Sorry people. Yes its fun, but if she is suffering from one of these many forms of medical conditions. Is it a view to mock or should it be a view to take Corbyn to task for using her as a public statement figure

Oddly enough, Nicko and Didge, I believe that, sadly, you may well be right. (And I say "sadly" because we have a bad case of dementia in my own family and it is an affliction that I would not wish even on my worst enemy. It also means that I can spot the signs.)

I'm an avid face-watcher at Prime Minister's question time in the Commons, and when Corbyn has been addressing the house she sits next to him, frequently with a blank expression and her mouth hanging half open, seemingly just nodding in unquestioning obedience.

Her noticeable absence from major media interviews and discussions...even on Home Office matters where she might well have been in ultimate charge this morning... tends to lend credence to the scuttlebutt I have been hearing that Seamus Milne's team have not dared to let her loose, mainly because of some of her past virtually incoherent interviews where she would have been given a full pre-briefing but has either forgotten, misunderstood or simply ignored what she has been told. As as old interview hand the signs of that were pretty obvious to me too.

It's hard to think that she was once one of the most promising young MPs in the House, articulate and vivacious and a role model for young, aspiring black women, and I believe her maiden speech was hailed as one of the best ever made.

I hope, for her sake and above all for that of her family, that I'm wrong, but I really do wonder how she's going to cope in what could be a pretty vicious Parliament in the coming months and years.

I'm pretty sure I'm right Fred, like you, I had a Family member with the same horrible problem, and I could cry when I remember how she was when young. It's not something to make jokes about !

sorry but that race baiting incompetent has no place in politics due to her years of incompetence not any suspected dementia. Although wasn't it something to do with diabetes.
