My issue ben though with this intersectionality concept. Is that in the end and how they keep continually telling white kids, they have no right to speak, are less important than others and that they are not oppressed as others etc. Is going to create a view of them continually putting themselves down as people for nothing they did, but how they have been made to feel guilty for simple being white. I fail to see any logic in this oppression olympics scenario and even worse its not actually teaching equality.

The goal should always be to teach the truth -- that no matter what color your skin is, what your gender or gender identity or sexual orientation is, etc. etc., blah blah blah, you should have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

That was one thing I really admired about Obama -- as America's first black president, he did more for poor white people than any president had since LBJ.
