I've stayed away really for a few days because it's more than tedious the same of old merry go round of abuse. Gelico was/is an excellent poster and if she's lost because of another poster, then the forum is pretty much doomed if it carries on. Perhaps she has a lot on her plate and just had had enough. Sometimes, it's best to stay away from forums when you have personal problems.

No abuse was thrown her way, but crictism of the way she down played smell's racism

She is an excellent poster and here, ran a mile, when she got caught out defending him

I stayed out of this thread last week because I didn't have any real problems with gelico back then...

However, after the racist, sexist, white supremacist and bigoted filth that Smelly' has been posting this week, I now have severe reservations about anybody bad enough as to keep on defending Smelly's obscenities..

Would'nt worry me in the least if gelico never returns with those bad attitudes of hers.

I have known her for years on here and was stunned she deleted her account

It certainly was not my intent and I have a right to question how she down played the racism of smelly through his comments

But I very much hope she comes back though

I dont know what went on and it's obviously passed now, but if it caused Gels to leave thats sad....we can all get upset on a forum and feel like packing it in, I sincerely hope in time Gels will come back here....preferably sooner rather than later.

As for the comment the ridiculous wetwipe made about her calling her bad rubbish, that just sums up his attitude towards any woman who can put him in his corner without blinking twice...one less female to show him up for the absolute nobhead he is. Twisted Evil

You got it absolutely right, Quill. It comes from my belief that rancid ideas like racism and bigotry in general are killed by reasoned debate, not censorship.
