so the TR documentary on the panorama documentary is available to watch now


I am sure many here will have dismissed it out of hand without watching a second of it, but for those with open minds you can watch it on youtube.

I am not sure that it is the killer blow for the BBC that he thinks it is but it does show some underhand methods used by the panorama team in order to dig up dirt. Probably the biggest scandal is the amount of drink consumed by sweeney when he tries to get Tommy's mole drunk to spill the beans.
I am not sure the claims of racism and homophobia about sweeney really stick, but had they been from robinson the media would have gone into overdrive. I also am not sure a link is proved between panorama and the government. There does certainly seem to be some collusion between hope not hate and the panorama team and they do appear to have been trying to blackmail ex employees to make stuff up.
Robinson has always been his own worst enemy and he only just manages to keep his temper in check during this interview.
Anyway as I say, anyone with an open mind should give it a watch and make their own mind up.

that wasn't the question though. Without watching the doc you cant really comment on it and other opinions would be nice to hear.
