Lets be shallow for a change...
Forget about world peace and climate change, family health and happiness..... if you could wish for one thing for Christmas....something you have seen in the shops or online, a little something to pamper you that you would love to find in your Christmas stocking....what would it be?

I have only had 2 watches in the last 40 years, one of which I wear every day, but I just thought this was so sparkly and fancy.... fingers crossed I will get it. (Well I know OH has bought it cos he got it duty free on the plane last week)

Very nice. I don't know what I would wish for except for waking up to my house being totally renovated, over night, without the mess of old lathe and plaster being removed and all that. Dreading it, done it once before.

Re: Lets be shallow for a change...
I put off renovations as long as possible.....my idea of a nightmare is having people in turning the house upside down, so the result is the house could certainly do with some updating.
I may go on a very long holiday one day and get everything done whilst I am lounging on some far flung beach somewhere exotic.

Maybe people, especially when they get older, dont really want material goods in their Christmas stocking.
If this was a forum for younger people I expect threads like this would get hundreds of replies.

I would like a motorised scooter thing that you stand on as you zoom down the street. I think they look well fucking nippy and I could get to work in no time.
I think I would probably look like a bit of a nutcase but with the wind in my hair and going at least 10 miles per hour....why would I care?

We were on holiday last week and I was amused to see a girl who worked in a big supermarket nipping in and out carrying out her duties riding one of these.
A real perk of the job I thought.
