Domestically, the Conservatives are split right down the middle with an inept and incompetent PM, and are being infiltrated and overtaken by the hard right.
The country is split over Brexit.
Lies were spun by both sides and no-one voted for whatever outcome we will finally get.
Labour are also split over anti semitism, perhaps if Corbyn were to stand down and allow someone like Sir Kier Starmer to run the party (Or another centrist moderate) , Labour would possible win the next GE by a landslide as Blair did, and would remain in power for a generation.
Over the pond, idiotic Americans elected a Russian plant who at every turn shows his hand as a treasonous bigoted, womanizing racist.
The soon Mueller serves his indictment, the sooner the West will sleep easier, as it certainly is uncomfortable having two fascist meglomaniacs who hate NATO and western Europe having fingers on nuclear buttons.

What surprises me given the unpopularity of both Labour and Conservatives, is that the centre ground haven't made any impact. I reckon if David Miliband returned as a Liberal Democrat, there would be a surge in their votes.

It should I agree Tommy.
But the most avid brexiteer must now have to face the fact that this government are making a complete hash of negotiating us out.....they cant even agree with themselves, and it seems the main reasons many voted out are being watered down so much people will hardly notice the difference even when we do finally leave.

Labour would be no better, not with Corbyn at the helm anyway.

We will leave, but it looks like it's going to be such a 'soft' exit most of us wont notice the difference.

There is no deal to be had... and I don't see what all the fuss is about with it all...


It's really quite simple...


We leave... then any UK companies who want to do any trade with any other EU countries, just have to make sure that their products meet the level of standards set by the EU... which they already do anyway... and any EU companies who want to do any trade with us just have to make sure that their products meet UK set level of standards, which are exactly the same at the moment anyway and likely to stay very much the same in the future too...


Then the rest of UK businesses, of which around 95% of UK businesses, don't do any trade with the EU, and are then free of the costs of having to conform with the huge regulatory burden of EU rules...!


And UK sovereignty and democracy is restored to the British people... controlling our own country/laws/rules/money/borders et al... once again...!!!


What 'deal' can we be offered by the EU that is better than that...!?

Where did Tommy mention Muslims and Black people?

The reality is, if and when we stop the ridiculous easy access from all EU countries, many people from further afield will have the chance to enter the UK that are not allowed to now because of EU free movement and immigration figures.
I heard a report recently that there are hundreds of qualified Indian doctors who would happily settle in the UK if they were given the chance.
