Sajid Javid is impressing me

Appointed to the poisened chalice of a job and has hit the ground running.
Has undone May and Dude's callous work.
Has backed Windrush victims
Returned vital medicinal THC to a dying kid.
Addressing knife crime.
Speaks calmly and makes good sense.
Willing to work with the opposition for the common good.

He seems genuinely a decent guy. Leader elect?
What will, of course, go against him is that he is of colour and is a (non practicing) Muslim.
The Conservatives will never shake off the inherent racism of middle England's middle class blue rinse brigade.

Stupid or illiterate ? Most if your posts show your one or both. always rabbiting on about how nasty the Tories are, with never a mention of the Labour party's dirty deeds ! how about Corbyns relations with the IRA, there's plenty of photo's of him with his arms around Ira murderers. Or Keith Vaz with rent boys snorting Cocaine, or the many other Labour Mp's caught out doing things they out to be jailed for?

Tommy yet again reinforcing the common belief that he isn't quite the full ticket.
He overruled May and Rudd's Windrush policy.
He is looking closely into police numbers and the correlation (look it up) with knife crime.
He overruled, quite rightly, the Border Force seizure of medically prescribed THC, and ordered it's return to the ill boy.
His colour and religion is of no matter to ordinary folk.
He is a likable guy doing a difficult job, which his 2 predecessors serially fucked up.
You and Nicko don't respect him BECAUSE his is a coloured Muslim.
You 2 would be buggered if he became the Conservative leader. Although I have you more as UKIP, EDL or Britain First voters.

Those of you with long memories might well remember me posting many, many moons ago that I'd put money on him being a future Tory leader and PM.
True, as someone has already pointed out, the Home Office can be something of a poisoned chalice, but it can also be a valuable stepping stone to the right person.
I still believe that he could be just that person.
