Trump can't legally block Twitter users because doing so violates the First Amendment
New York: A federal judge in New York on Thursday ruled that Failing President of the Constitution.
US District Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald stopped short of ordering Trump to unblock users, saying it was not necessary to enter a "legal thicket" involving courts' power. She said she assumed Trump or his social media director Dan Scavino, who also was a defendant in the case, would unblock the users in light of her decision.
Buchwald's ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed against Trump in July by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University and several Twitter users.
Twitter declined to comment on the ruling while the White House and the US Department of Justice, which represents the President in the case, did not immediately comment.
Trump was a prolific tweeter from his @RealDonaldTrump account even before being elected in 2016 and has since made it an integral and controversial part of his presidency.

It's a creative case. Under ordinary circumstances, users may block each other.
But the Bill of Rights (first 10 amendments) was aimed at government overreach, and thus it limits the power of government officials; so, there must be 'state action' to involve a constitutional claim.
The plaintiffs claim in their lawsuit that by blocking users for their views, Trump is shutting them out of discussion in a public forum, violating the First Amendment:
This may not mean much to the average reader--after all, most people were unaware of the 'state action' requirement anyway--but for a president who likes to abuse his power, it is a brilliant turning of the tables on him.
The Canberra Times wrote:When one Twitter user blocks another, the blocked user may not respond to the blocker's tweets on the social media platform.

Umm No, Trump cannot block users regardless of what they say.
Twitter could still block users that get reported for abuse but Trump cannot legally use the Block function.
