The Wedding of the year is just a few days away.
Can't wait to see the dress!! And the guest list.
Let's have all your opinions - good or bad.
There will no doubt be plenty of last minute drama too.
Let's have all the details and the latest transatlantic wedding news here.

Well, it's nearly all over bar the shouting.
Tomorrow that little lad we watched grow up from scratch, takes a wife.
Hope there's no more drama to come and the day goes well for them.
A wedding day should be the happiest day of one's life
Hope the military bands and horse parades put on a good spectacle.
The world will be watching.

Re: The Royal Wedding - Prince Harry Takes A Wife
Fair play, a very nice wedding, although I do think Doria should have been assigned an escort, to walk in with her and sit with her, unless she already knew the people next to her of course, she cut a dignified but lonely presence I thought. I know Charles walked her into the signings and out of the chapel but it would have been nice to have someone to talk to or lend her a hanky and drive back with her, just a bit of support.
We do a great occassion very well but some of the antics of some of the crowd did make me laugh and cringe.
What about old face ache - Victoria Beckham, you'd think she'd crack a slight smile for the cameras, most everyone else did. She really looked p'd off, she even seemed to snap at David when they got inside. I know some people have that kind of serious/miserable face, I have, so I do try to remember to give a bit of a smile to people I engage with, however briefly.

Not a massive royalist, but it was nicely done and Meghan was stunningly beautiful.
Here is the rather jaundiced view from a poster on a rival forum.
Some of know him, and a couple still interact with him.

We gotta pay for the wedding of a overseas wog now, bleeding good ain't it?
They will have the customary 3/4 brats who we will have to keep.
Wait until they nick the family silver, cutlery and flog it for drugz.

Re: The Royal Wedding - Prince Harry Takes A Wife
I managed to watch it live from noon till 1am, which was just in time to see Meghan alight from her car, which was a really beautiful moment.
She looked incredibly beautiful, the dress was understated but totally fitting, as the veil and headress were so ornate.
The wedding was perfect, but the highlight for me was seeing Harry, so obviously and completely in love with her.
I dont see myself as a royalist, but any human being who saw the way that little lad walked behind his mums coffin, and heared him later speak of how he bottled up all those traumatic feelings he suffered for years, could not fail to be moved that at last that little boy, as a man, has found his soulmate.

Hope you don't mind me editing out unsavoury comments, Andy. x
Yes it was a magnificent do. Society wedding of the year.
The royal family paid for this wedding themselves. An international & interracial union.
100,000 people came to enjoy the spectacle and glorious weather in the tiny town of Windsor.
That's a LOT of wellwishers!
The excitement of the crowd at approx 1:22:00 when the couple emerged!!!

I'll give you that. Beautiful castles, beautiful guards, beautiful horses, beautiful day, and a gorgeous silver-blue e-type Jaguar to escape in.
Me? They might have held it at my castle, with a spiffy little yawl to slip away on.
Or, I would have stuck with the Db3S, Aston Martin, but who knows...
Wonderful show.

Re: The Royal Wedding - Prince Harry Takes A Wife
I thought Sarah Duchess of York looked great, she seems to have learned something about what suits her in the intervening years, she should now have a word with her daughters. Strangely when either of them are attending charity or private functions they look very smart, I don't know what goes wrong at occassions such as this. I thought Eugenie's dress was frumpy and lumpy and Beatrices was, well weird.

Anyone else see a resemblance between a young Victoria and Beatrice also Eugenie and the queen Mother, when young. There's quite a few others as well the genes don't stray far it seems.

Isn't it nice to see that Mini-Minor Stormee hasn't changed a bit since being given his marching orders...
Despite being a proud and boastful tax-avoider in another life, here he claims to be paying for the wedding (despite the fact that it's basically a combination of the family income from the Duchy of Cornwall and the television networks covering much of the costs..) -- what a lying and supercilious little twat Stormee is..
Then he further shows his putrid ignorance by misusing the derogatory racist-motivated term "wog" by applying it to an American, not understanding just what it originally meant (i.e. immigrants from Eastern and Southern Europe with their 'olive' and 'dusky' complexions..).
And to think that slimy little microbe still has his 3 or 4 Floptard fans out there !!!

The build up to the wedding bored the arse off me. But I have to say, I got drawn into watching and it was lovely. They make a beautiful couple and so much in love.

You are right HT. all the grovelling coverage, sentimentality and celeb adoration, people babbling on about minute possibilities, trying to find out about the dress and all that nonsense gets on my nerves. I always enjoy such ocassions though, next one Trooping the Colour.

I know what wog originally meant.
I also know that cretinbrain used it in a derogatory way.
He is too stupid to realise it's original meaning.
And why ask me who his floptard retard friends are.
Has he ANY?
As far as I know he is now Billy no-mates since his racist buddy was banned for racism.
Even head loathes him but endures him simply to keep his forum alive.
Even his hands refuse to masturbate him.

NO I did not.
If you read the thread you will see clearly that the question of his floptard friends was brought up by Wolfie.

you were the first one to bring up the other forum and what was said and even copied the post into this forum. It was totally unnecessary but you just had to do it 'cos you are just so obsessed with the place. You bring flops into your conversation on every possible occasion

I care...at least it's of interest. I've never been there, but a lot of the members there are members over here. I miss Dean and wish he would visit over here more often.
So, thanks to Andy for keeping us up to date. I think we all know who the "3 - 4 friends of Major" are...I'm sure no one is hiding the fact. So...Andy, Wolf, keep up the good work!

A good number do care as well.
If (hypothetically) some of us posted on an extreme far left Communist forum, the right wingers here would be all over it like a rash. And they would be within their rights.
It seems some are now embarrassed to admit they like or post over there.
They of course have every right to, but it is fair game to show them up for not pulling up far right sick racists.

I post over there, make something of that. To be honest I don't care where else you or anyone else posts, that's your business. Bringing a subject from another forum to discuss is ok too.
I do care when you keep bringing Flap/members up as you do, instead of going there and making your views plain to those and give them a chance to answer you.

Who me? The only person I mention from over on Flap is Dean himself, and that's because I like him. He's intelligent, expresses himself well, and keeps his mind on the spot. When you blow away the adversarial sawdust, he's one of the most fun guys to talk to over here or anywhere.
The fact that I think he's ultimately wrong on the issues does not deter the fact that he and I get into some of the best, most intelligent discussions anywhere. There's a lot of sloppy intellects over on Flap--as Andy and Wolf rightly point out--but Dean isn't one of them.

1 Member. NOT members.
But why let facts get in the way.
The only flop member I brought up was also a rather disruptive member on here as well. And that makes him fair game.
Given the opportunity, my bet is he would be back here in a shot to spout his bile and racist hatred.
