The training is tough in the forces to prepare the recruits for situations they might find themselves in and to root out those who aren't fitted for such a job. This kind of thing has and is happening to male recruits all the time.
This was filmed purely because it was a female apparently failing. I have no problem with the way the corporal seems to operate after all an enemy is going to do a lot more than shout at you, filming it and putting it out there is what should get him into trouble.

So if they're in combat and the enemy shouts, she would cry. I wouldn't want her watching my back.

Training is in part to toughen them up, otherwise we're going to wind up with soft, babbling forces.

If she can't take it, leave.

Silly cow. When you think of all the gutsy, valiant women throughout history this makes you feel like taking a running kick at her front bottom so she's really got something to cry about.

If you haven't watched the video, I suggest you do.

If she can't take that, how the hell would she manage on an actual battlefield?

The corporal was actually trying to help her, you can tell, but she's clearly not cut out for the military ... she's in way over her head.
