Did she only realise after the three years that it was a "Mickey Mouse" degree? Surely she would have noticed that straight away.

Ms Wing said in documents lodged before London County Court: 'Since graduating ... it has been proven that the degree … does not play a role to help secure a rewarding job with prospects'.

Oh dear - I could have told her that before she started the degree. When are people going to realise that a degree guarantees nothing?

More fool her. Having a Degree might help you a little more generally as far as showing that you can apply yourself to any given subject or speciality but the bottom line is, if your face doesn't fit at a job interview you won't get the job. That's just how it is and how it's always been. What you have to do is keep trying and work harder.

You have to stand out above everyone else when you go for a job interview. You have to exude the X factor.

Sadly, so many people don’t know how to shine their light and wear their own personalities, that they just blend in with every other Mr A Nother.

In the US, there are resources to help you decide if a degree is worthwhile. I'm sure it's the same in the UK. Schools embellish on the value of a certain degree from their school. It's up to the student to figure that out. Even in Texas, a degree has far different values, depending on what the degree is in, and what Uni the degree is from.
