Druggie Flopkins now on Ketamine for her epilepsy.
It looks as if the operation she had to cure her seizure failed. This car crash of a woman (diffiicult to call her a journalist) just keeps ending up in bother.
A bit of advice for her. Dont take your tablets to Egypt.
Perhaps she should have had a full frontal labotomy. Wouldnt have fixed her epilepsy, but would have spared us from her hateful opinions.

Apparently, much of the ketamine that finds its way onto the rec'/party drug market has been stolen from veterinary clinics where it's used as a common anaesthetic..

With much of the stolen product being produced as a horse tranquiliser;  regular overdoses and occasional deaths are common side effects among rave party users.

I can't claim to have read much of what Katie Hopkins writes or broadcasts, and I'm certainly not among her admirers either as a person or a journalist, but I can't help wondering just how much of the above is actually accurate and how much is simply a deliberately warped misinterpretation of her opinions...objectionable though they may be to people like Andy - who, himself, has many opinions that some would find objectionable.

Did she actually write: "boat children are cockroaches"?

Did she actually write: "boat children should be machine gunned"?

Did she actually laugh at a drowned child lying on a beach?

Did she actually say "I hate people who are mentally ill"?

Or are these alleged "statements" simply what her detractors, like Andy, think - or more likely would like the rest of us to think - she actually meant?

I was once quoted, in a forum like this one, of writing "....I support everything the British National Party stands for..." and this was repeated tagged in responses to my posts, regardless of the subject matter, by a far Left poster (no surprise there!) with the intention that everyone else would believe it.

What I had actually posted was that "...I oppose everything that the British National Party stands for..." but the "deliberately warped misinterpretation" was made pretty obvious.

I may not agree with what she says or is supposed to have said or what is quoted out of context but at least she has the courage to speak up about what she doesn't agree with however pc correct it may be, makes a change from everyone agreeing or being afraid to say what they think because of the furious reaction of the righteous pc brigade.
Maybe people get upset because there is some truth in what she says and we can't have people saying the truth about issues can we and go against the party line.

I gave you a green for that. I don’t like her opinions much but I do at least admire the fact she states them regardless of how unpopular it makes her. I do like brutally honest people.

Just because someone get's into trouble with the law, doesn't always make them wrong, there's a host of instances of people speaking out of line and out of time that doesn't agree with current fasionable (hive)thinking. Libel actions always have been, and always will be, one of the occupational hazards of the controversial journalist, and one could reasonably argue in Hopkins's case that the number of legal actions against her and the cumulative amount of damages awarded are more commensurate with her prodigious output of both the written and spoken word than to any proneness that she might suffer in respect of making actionable allegations.

At least some of her comments are clearly objectionable to many people (myself included) but so what? She is just as entitled to express her obviously strongly held opinions as are either you, I, Wolfie, Veya, Sassy or anyone else.

The difference is, of course, that she has the writing and broadcasting skills that allow her to reach a far wider national audience, and what's more newspapers and broadcast media are willing to pay her because her views attract and are of interest toreaders and listeners...whether they agree or disagree with what she says.

Frankly, I much prefer, and have always tried to follow, the philosophy of Voltaire - "I may disagree with w hat you say, but I will defend till death your right to say it" rather than live in the 1984 world of George Orwell where people like you and several others in this forum attempt to control through bullying, abuse and intimidation what is written and what points of view are expressed on certain matters in order to ensure that they are all fully in accord with your own frequently flawed thinking.

As I have said before, I don't know much about Hopkins and am certainly not a member of her fan club, but I did at least take the trouble to investigate the oft repeated allegation, most recently by yourself,  that she wants to "machine gun" immigrants."

The fact is that she never said that; what she did say in a radio interview was that she would use gunboats to stop the mass migration from North Africa to Europe and tow immigrants' boats back to where they came from and burn them.

The last time I looked, a length of rope and a tow hook bore little resemblance to a quick-firing weapon.

So, nothing whatsoever so far as I can see about actually blasting immigrants out of the water with machine guns...unless, of course, your main source of information happens to be one of the Leftist anti-establishment websites that routinely and deliberately misreport,  misrepresent, distort and twist what has  really been said...because they themselves don't like it and don't think their followers should like it either.
