Eagles win
Eagles 41 - 33!!!
I like Philadelphia, but it was really Nick Foles that I was rooting for. The first University of Arizona quarterback to ever make it into the NFL, let alone the Super Bowl. Now, he's a Super Bowl winner...from always last Arizona.
Now, I want you to know I called it. At the beginning of the 4th quarter, when Philadelphia was down by one, I said the Eagles go down and score, and on the next possession Brady fumbles and the Eagles win. As if scripted, the Eagles scored a touchdown and next series they forced a Brady fumble.
Am I good, or what??

Re: Eagles win
AWESOME game. That 4th and 1 play was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Talk about guts.

Yes, the 4th and 1 play was amazing. It took guts, but Peterson has shown that all year.
Ironically, in the first quarter the Patriots tried almost the same play...and failed. But the Eagles executed it to perfection and Foles scored.
Wasn't Foles great? A U of A quarterback!! Never been a great U of A QB before; never will be again. The U of A is the worst football team in the PAC-12 (but top five in basketball). And lo, he's the first ever drafted into the NFL, the first to play in a Super Bowl, and now a Super Bowl winner.
Trivia question: what university has sent the most quarterbacks to the Super Bowl? Ans: Berkeley.

Re: Eagles win
Foles is from Texas, that's why he's so awesome
Great game. I hate both teams but now I hate them slightly less. The Patriots, because they lost. The Eagles, because they beat the Patriots

The look on Kraft’s face was priceless same with Crybrady and Blobocheck. What a beautiful sight.
I hate the Eagles slightly less but I will always ALWAYS hate the Patsys, or as my friend’s 4 year old calls them, The Pastries

Well, the Iggles are in the same division as the Cowboys. If the Iggles ain't whomping your "...boys", the Giants are.

I wasn’t that bothered to be honest, didn’t prepare any special food, just opened up a generic jar of cheese dip and one of salsa and generic chips but I wish I had now. It really was a consistently good game that did go down to the wire. Even my mother was watching it and texting me. She never watches football.
Justin’s halftime show was underwhelming for us at least. Great choreography but you could hardly hear him sing and I just don’t think he’s the right fit for this.

I was out riding my bike with my beer drinking group.
I've never been a fan of JT, although I think one of my future son in laws looks like him. My daughter disagrees, but what does she know. I'm not sure but I think JT is short. The future SIL is like 6 2". Maybe that's it.
