New at the library

Since I’ve been sick the last week, I’ve had some extra time for reading.
Some great new books and an older one on the Romanov Sisters. All are very very good. I’m especially enjoying The Potlikker Papers.
Pot liquor, sometimes spelled potlikker or pot likker is the liquid that is left behind after boiling greens or beans. It is sometimes seasoned with salt and pepper, smoked pork or smoked turkey. It’s VERY yummy.

It’s one of the perks of being a public librarian...both the books and the germs
