“Butcher of Bosnia”
Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb military general known as the “Butcher of Bosnia”, has been found guilty of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, and sentenced to life in prison.
Mladic was found guilty of commanding forces responsible for crimes which include the worst atrocities during Bosnia‘s devastating 1992-95 war: the deadly three-year siege of the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, and the 1995 massacre of some 8,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica – Europe’s worst mass killing since World War II.
The United Nations’ Yugoslav war crimes tribunal convicted the 74-year-old of 10 out of 11 charges. Mladic will appeal against his convictions, his defence lawyer has said.
Prosecutors had sought a life sentence, while Mladic’s defence lawyers said he should be acquitted on all counts.
“The crimes committed rank among the most heinous known to humankind, and include genocide and extermination as a crime against humanity,” the judge said while reading out a summary of the judgement.
The mothers of Srebrenica’s victims clapped when the convictions were read out. Mladic’s son, Darko, said: “I’m not surprised. The court was totally biased from the start.”

Good riddance.
These events were not that long ago. Seems to be a forgotten part of history. Maybe because the wrong folks were the victims and the oppressors to garner the right amount of attention.

Has Bosnia and Albania become "Islamic States" since their independence?

No they haven’t.
Good riddance as you say, may he rot in hell. Mr. C was there 4 times. The Dutch messed up big time, but this piece of garbage would have done it elsewhere.

Owner of the website.
Francisco Gil-White is an academic who moonlights as an internet conspiracy theorist, writing on a variety of topics on his own website, "Historical and Investigative Research," which does not have a comments section below articles.
Until 2006, Gil-White used to write at conspiracy theory website Emperor's Clothes (which publishes conspiracy theories about 9/11, former Yugoslavia and Israel) before a falling out with the editor of that website, Jared Israel.
Says it all.

The conviction of Ratko Mladić on war crimes charges presents yet another awkward moment for despot-friendly Corbynistas, who cosied up to the brutal Milosevic and his murderous regime for years. Guido can reveal an extraordinary online defence of Milosevic written by Momentum social media supremo Harry Hayball. Goldsmiths PhD Hayball, who is a director of Corbynista media firm People Powered Productions Ltd, bemoaned the 2006 death of Milosevic as a “tragic”. He wrote in a post on the BBC News website:
To be fair to Hayball, he’s in the right company. Here’s an EDM Jeremy Corbyn (and John McDonnell) signed back in 2004, playing down the Kosovo crisis and spinning the line for the Milosevic regime denying the existence of mass graves as “war propaganda”:
And as for Seumas?
“This is tragic news. Slobodan Milosevic was a committed opponent of nationalism and discrimination, as is evident from his speeches, and was the biggest factor for peace in the Balkans throughout the 1990s. The prosecution failed completely in proving anything, and the defence case, has been refuting all their lies. It is tragic that he has not been able to clear his name while alive. I wonder how the ICTY will view its over-ruling of his doctors’ judgements that he needed 6 weeks of rest now.”
To be fair to Hayball, he’s in the right company. Here’s an EDM Jeremy Corbyn (and John McDonnell) signed back in 2004, playing down the Kosovo crisis and spinning the line for the Milosevic regime denying the existence of mass graves as “war propaganda”:
“That this House welcomes John Pilger’s column for the New Statesman issue of 13th December, reminding readers of the devastating human cost of the so-termed ‘humanitarian’ invasion of Kosovo, led by NATO and the United States in the Spring of 1999, without any sanction of the United Nations Security Council; congratulates John Pilger on his expose of the fraudulent justifications for intervening in a ‘genocide’ that never really existed in Kosovo; recalls President Clinton’s Secretary of Defense William Cohen claimed, entirely without foundation, that ‘we’ve now seen about 100,000 military-aged [Albanian] men missing…..they may have been murdered’ and that David Scheffer, the US ambassador-at-large for war crimes, announced with equal inaccuracy that as many as ‘225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59’ may have been killed; recalls that the leader of a Spanish forensic team sent to Kosovo returned home, complaining angrily that he and his colleagues had become part of ‘a semantic pirouette by the war propaganda machines, because we did not find one mass grave’; further recalls that one year later, the International War Crimes Tribunal, a body de facto set up by NATO, announced that the final count of bodies found in Kosovo’s ‘mass graves’ was 2,788; believes the pollution impact of the bombing of Kosovo is still emerging, including the impact of the use of depleted uranium munitions; and calls on the Government to provide full assistance in the clean up of Kosovo.”
And as for Seumas?
Classic…

Well maybe you can point out the evidence he has to back his claims
As all i saw was views and quotes on people
I did not see any evidence to refute the trial that has convicted a mass murderer.
So really, its now up to you to refute the conviction made in this trial

That's like trying to convince a holocaust denier that the website they found saying it never happened is bull shit. It's like trying to convince an anti-vaxer that they should get their kids vaccinated.
Sometimes, you just realize that people need to come around on their own, or accept that they never will.

Re: “Butcher of Bosnia”
Also he seems to have some real poor revisionist on WW2 history going on about the Serbs in WW2, claiming they were fair and treated people well. I read the part where he claimed the Serbs are the last population in the world to be suspected of Genocide. That is bollocks.
At the end of WW2, when they set hundreds of thousands of Croats on a death march.
He seems also to completely whitewash the Chetnik terror used against Bosnian Muslims in WW2, where areas were ethnically cleansed by groups of Chetniks. They carried out many attrocities to innocent civillians. Not only against Muslims, but where Serbs and Croats intermixed.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chetniks
At the end of the War, German Prisoners, which included many women who were nurses and auxillaries, were sent on a 2,000 km death march around Yugoslavia. They suffered starvation, dysentry and beatings and many of the woman were raped. If people could not continue, they were ordered to kneel down and shot.
Yes Croatia was allied to Nazi German, and they committed attrocities as the Nazi's did. Also Bosnian Muslims served under the Nazis, also committing attrocities.
Slovenes and Croats were sent on death marches thousands were killed and died.

So when someone makes claims defending Serbians, ignoring crimes they committed. Then its clear they have a bias in defending them against future crimes committed by some of the Serbian people.
Hence the validity of the claims are poor, based on opinion, from what I have read and no actual evidence.
