Britain is half a Trillion pounds worse off than the Govt thought, according to the ONS.

And even the Daily Mail is blaming the Conservatives.

The comments are pretty damning too.

The context that was plastered all over the red battle Brexit bus was that leaving the EU would divert £350 million into the NHS each week.
It was spun that way and was an outright lie.

I know people who quoted that ridiculous bus as though it were to be taken as a promise. Farage even rejected it as such post referendum. Whether the wording was suggestive or not there is little doubt that that was the intended way the designer wanted the message read, to lure in angry voters with a vague 'promise'. Typical political disingenuity swallowed wholesale by millions (even if not all) of delusional Brexit voters.

Conservative political parties always love to push the fallacy that "conservatives are 'naturally' better economic managers than everyone else..".

Why is it then, that conservative parties will unfailingly manage to leave behind higher total national debts, higher unemployment levels and lower average wages (after adjusting for inflation..) -- despite all of their ballyhooed nonsense over "balanced budgets", lower corporate taxes and "trickle down" lies ???
