Public sector pay awards. Empty Public sector pay awards.

Post by Andy Fri Sep 15, 2017 9:08 am

The government  have indicated they would honour the recomendations of the independant pay review body in regards to increases in public sector pay , for police, fire service, Border Force staff, NHS and paramedics, civil service and local council workers.

Which they did when the same body reccomended an 11% increase for MP's, which they gratefully snatched.

If the review body suggests an award of 4-5% is justified,  should the goverment pay up or disregard what they say and simply impose their own pay cap again?
