Does anyone remember the toilet paper you used to get at school or in public toilets where you had to pay a penny, it was like rice paper and as strong as crepe paper. Bloody awful stuff.

We referred to it as tracing paper - it was the opposite of absorbent.

If the world as we know it ends and civilization is destroyed - if I live through it toilet roll is way high on my list of things to reinvent first!
