Where Do You Live?
First topic message reminder :
27th January 2014
I've noticed a few arguments over where people are from - where are you from?
It might explain why some are droning on about Obama, or the fires in Australia if we know where other posters hatched.
Born in England and living in Londonistan here.

Re: Where Do You Live?
The U.S. sucks in many ways; sorry to hear it's being made out as some sort of Shangri-La overseas. But I guess people have a hard time resisting the notion of such a thing.
Of course, it's been scientifically proven that the greatest country on Earth is actually New Zealand ...

@Ben
That is why we have been infiltrating them with a 5th column. .. But they seem to be doing a better job there are a bugger load of the over here.
One day, probably in my life, we will become one nation... (and the ANZAC's will rise again ::rambo:: ::rambo:: ::rambo:: ::rambo:: ::rambo:: ::rambo:: ::rambo:: )
I think if it wasn't for the sporting rivalry (which we would miss greatly, because of the challage you see ::=|Q:: we are both MUCH better than England ) we would already be one nation, it makes economic and cultural sense (as we copy each other if one works out something better ). We already have a Stronger than Commonwealth bond (we don't need Visas to visit/work, like in the EU).

Excuse my ignorance, but where/what the hell's PNG?veya_victaous wrote: @JD
My Dad is French. I got nothing against the French.
And the Cities of PNG outside of controlled areas are pretty crazy too. whole place is a powder keg with spear/club wielding mobs forming in moments. I think the countless generations of tribal warfare, canibalism and headhunting are still a little too recent for comfort (a part from that it looks like a beautiful place to visit).

I thought it was just wishful thinking, considering the weather! You should have put the quote in. Plus I'm only on my third cup of coffee, not compos mentis yet!

Hi JD,,,America was the biggest disappointment in my life,,,,New York was completely soulless, everyone appeared so distant and off,,it's like the land of the giants over there, awfully ugly, if I ever visited it a third time, I'd stay clear of the big cities.
Alright Scrat
I've always thought of it as the place to be!, but the the media, telly and so on give that impression...sorry to hear that Scrat, must seem in a way like money wasted?...
If I ever go, it will be California...Santa Cruz boardwalk!! My wee lass is crazy on the Lost Boys films, more so the first in 1987, that where some of the filming was!!
Done that JD, and had breakfast on the Wharf (pier to us). Very quirky.
