Trump will ban French from entering US..UK next?
On June 13, 2016, President-elect Trump said:
Originally, Trump vowed simply to ban all those of the Muslim relition. But as one expert said:
So it would have to be a system of self-reporting of religion, in a country that constitutionally prohibits religious discrimination.
Perhaps due to this difficulty, Trump eliminated talk of banning Muslims as a religion, and switched instead to banning peoples from areas with a "proven history of terrorism." That means France and Belgium. Since 2003 there have been no less than 26 acts of terrorism on French soil. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_France In Belgium there have been slightly fewer terrorists incidents, but it is well known that Brussels houses many terrorist cells from which emanate much of the terrorist activity in Europe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Terrorist_incidents_in_Belgium
Could the UK be next? That depends on what Trump means by "proven history". Certainly we need no more proof that terrorism took place on July 7, 2005, in London:
Indeed, the Lockerbie bombing was the result of proven terrorism, which is now well entrenched in history.
Sorry UK...you fit the description that Trump has in mind. Please cancel all flights to and from Heathrow and Abbotsinch forthrightly. Y'all are just too dangerous for us to allow in.
New York Times wrote:“I will suspend immigration from areas of the world where there is a proven history of terrorism.”
Originally, Trump vowed simply to ban all those of the Muslim relition. But as one expert said:
New York Times wrote:“How would you screen Muslims?” said Muzaffar Chishti, a director at the Migration Policy Institute. “There’s no mention of religion on the passport. If you go by name, clearly a lot of Muslims don’t have Muslim-sounding names, and a lot of non-Muslims have Muslim-sounding names.”
So it would have to be a system of self-reporting of religion, in a country that constitutionally prohibits religious discrimination.

Wiki wrote:On the morning of Thursday, 7 July 2005, four Islamist extremists separately detonated three bombs in quick succession aboard London Underground trains across the city, and later, a fourth on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square. 52 people were killed and over 700 more were injured in the attacks, making it Britain's worst terrorist incident since the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, as well as the country's first ever Islamist suicide attack.
Indeed, the Lockerbie bombing was the result of proven terrorism, which is now well entrenched in history.

Well, that may well be your concern. Like the child said, I'm rubber and you're glue, and anything you say bounces off me and sticks to you. But it's not an alternative theory of what's going on.
I'm more interested Trump's policies and their implications for this country. Pussy-grabber is not a clear-headed thinker. He walks into a minefield with his ban all Muslims edict, and now he finds he is prohibiting entrance of all French, Belgians and Brits. This man is not the brightest bulb on the tree. He can't even find the rule!

I think he is possibly the worst thing to happen to America in recent history, and I do believe many Brits will stop visiting unless they have to.

That's welcome news to those of us on the left. Consistent with the McConnell-Boehner doctrine, anything that is bad for America on the other side's watch, is good for our side.

Two questions: 1) what did you learn in Vegas about how Americans looked upon Mexicans; 2) did you approve?
Actually, a third questions: do you think Vegas is a real picture of America? I mean, it's such a holiday and sin place that I wonder while you are there measuring moods, if you are really gauging how Americans look upon anything.
