Killer was handed an indefinite hospital order


Just six days before he attacked Dr Ensink, Nandap had charges of possession of a knife and assaulting a police officer dropped at magistrates' court.

He had been a student at the prestigious London School of Economics in the years before the killing, but his student visa had expired.

The charges related to an incident in May last year when Nandap was seen in Primrose Gardens, north west London, with a 30 inch kitchen knife and punched and bit an officer who was trying to arrest him.

What is wrong with the authorities here?


Charges dropped after assaulting a police officer by punching and biting her... and in possession of a machete... skipped bail on the run back to Nigeria... visa expired but allowed back into the country and not arrested... left free to murder someone...

This is where the Law falls down.

To many are committing crimes flee the country then come back on another passport! We are too lax and it should be tightened up now.

Nothing said about coming back on another passport here I don't think...
