I thought this was an interesting and informative article of CCR's break-up and disputes. I Have a different opinion of John Fogerty, now, for sure. I love their music. Too bad the egos were so caustic.

IE Creedence Clearwater Revival band members will be keeping plenty of clear blue water between each other and there is no hope of revival of the band.

They have great folksy voices! Apparently "I heard it through the grapevine" was a hit three years running for 3 different bands including CCR. Well it was a superb tune, who wouldn't have a hit with a great song like that??
I also like Bad Moon Rising, gets your feet tapping.

I guess all good things come to an end, sadly, Lurker.
Is there any merit in bands carrying on and on ....... and on
Until eventually they start looking like a more wrinkled version of their own scrotums?

Some say that everyone reunites at the end of the Clearwater, but I don't give any Creedance to that theory. I wish nobody had Revivaled it.

Most of it is Fogerty's music anyway, and he has a very successful tour going on his own, managed by his wife.

I asked Fogerty. He said right now, he's stuck in ol' Lodi.
