A RECENT video showing a greyhound being boiled alive has caused uproar after it was leaked online.

To the western world, the thought of eating dog meat seems both incredulous and horrifying, but it is a practice that is still common in many areas of China and Asia.

The practice dates back to 500 BC, when it is thought that domesticated wolves were eaten.

But it’s not just people in China who eat dog meat.

Until very recently the delicacy was eaten in America, Africa and Europe.

But us eating rabbits and fluffy little lambs is ok...


And I'm sure the billion Hindus love it that we eat cows too...

I saw the pictures in a paper today....barbaric.
It's not only the fact that they eat dogs, it's the barbaric way they kill them....savages.

They kept the lid on as the poor dog was fighting to get out and screaming. I can't begin to imagine h o w that poor dog and many others must feel.
