Terror group outlaws the Islamic garb from their buildings because they are a SECURITY RISK
ISIS has outlawed the burka at their security centres in a northern Iraqi city, despite previously brutally enforcing a law requiring them to be worn.
The terror group have banned women entering the buildings in Mosul while wearing the full-face covering after a number of commanders were killed by veiled women.
Previously women in Syria and Iraq have been beaten or even killed by ISIS's 'morality police' for not wearing a veil to conceal their body and eyes.

Surely the burka is not an equal security risk at every single point on the globe, right?
Re: Terror group outlaws the Islamic garb from their buildings because they are a SECURITY RISK
surely it says more about the hypocrisy of "their" religious beliefs, than the security aspect.
and thus calls into question the wearing of them in any secular society?
and whilst I have a choice as to whether a child is educated by a black and white letter box (nun) since I have a choice of NOt sending them to a church run school, and moreover no one would bat an eye lid if I withdrew a child from lessons in ordinary school run by a nun...especially if that child was Muslim
a non Muslim is called "bigot etc If he was to withdraw his child from lesons run by an all black letterbox...even in an "ordinary school"
hence some of the rancour....as ever its "one rule for us and one rule for them", with shed loads of "special" exemptions....
maybe its time to be "perfectly fair"
and ban anyone displaying "religiosity" from teaching, in the same way we ban child abusers...
OR its time the heavy hammer dropped and those "special exemtions" (like a Muslim being able to refuse to have his children taught by a nun....) are removed and the law enforced fully, coldly and without favour....

To the contrary, my first impression was, Well good, it shows they are not religious zealots, with an inflexible ideological commitment that overrules practicality.
I find it encouraging that they allow exceptions that make sense. Sound proof that they are reasonable, after all.

Wow, Hitler hid away in a bunker as his country lost the war, he must have been a hypocrite because didn't he say he was a member of a superior race?
You people seem unrealistically shocked that evil people would have a sense of self-preservation!
The difference in their burqa ban and Europeans' burqa bans is that ISIS leaders have actually been killed by burqa bombers.

I totally agree, those people are anonymous heroes (at least I'd think it would be tough to find out who they were). Knowing they were going to die but doing it anyway to kill ISIS leadership is amazing.
