Perhaps he could teach you to write English.
Using faux language makes you look like a spastic.

Does using disabled people to mock the Major make you feel like a big man?

Major wrote:I was driving along a road in Stratford Upon Avon yesterday and noticed this geeza humping a washing machine into the back of a Mercedes Estate Car, "bleedin eck, I know him".
Last time we were together was in the middle 60s when he retired from working for Lizzy as an electrical engineering wizard, he was ace.
I stopped and we chatted, BTW he is loaded, alwayz waz.
I asked him what he was up to, he said 20 years ago when he retired he became bored stiff and by accident he repaired his own washing machine, then his dortuz, then his sistuz then neighbourz and so on.
Then he let it be known in hiz area and hiz kidz area and so on he would take away washing machinez, spin driers free in need of repair or otherwise, repair them and sell them on, most people sparrow him when he takez them anyway.
If he sees one dumped he picks it up, even the local plod go to him.
He is so content having something to do, he even haz spare partz tested and labelled in hiz double garage which I went to see today, really organised, neat and tidy.
He tellz me he bought hiz Merc from the proceedz of scrap washing machinez.
His wife duz the tagging and selling.
His grandson is taking over the business sune, he is already helping
I luv it when someone like him retirez happily, fit and without money worriez.
He's saving those washing machines from being dumped, so good for him! I think it's important for retired people to not sit around doing nothing.

Good for him Major.
Retirement should be the time to do what you want in life instead of working to live, and he has found something he loves to do....and he is even making money from it....sounds like a win win combination.

Sometimes the best things in life are the unplanned ones.Major wrote:Syl wrote:Good for him Major.

It all happened just by accident, Syl.
To find something you are good at and enjoy doing is a great way to pass time.
I think some people retire and they are bored witless because they have no routine or goals in life anymore.
Others embrace the freedom of doing what they want when they want, but that doesn't suit everyone.

You don't seem to do a very good job of stopping her spend, spend. spending though.

Are you aware the term 'spastic' is highly derogatory to people with cerebral palsy? That someone on here might have a child or relative with that condition?

it seems that using the report button now provided is beyond most folks who like to get their tits out in anger over various things
However.......they have a good point...HA ...you know better....AND you know the above is NOT acceptable....
using a term such as this as an insult is derogatory and demeaning to those who suffer from such conditions.....AND SHOWS YOUR TRUE ATTITUDE TO THOSE SO AFFLICTED...CLEARY IN USING SUCH A TERM IN THIS MANNER MEANS YOU SEE THE DISABLED AS WORTHLESS AND CONTEMPTUOUS....
DONT do it
ANY REPETITION will lead to sanction
and THAT applies to everyone and anyone......

It's not a very "left" thing to say. Sometimes I'm not sure who you are.
