Have you noticed the price of petrol/diesel is creeping back up?

CONSIDERING how low the international price for crude is, that could only be the oil companies and service stations gradually increasing their profit margins...
AGAIN..

AS A sidenote -- petroleum prices (outside of the Middle East and Northern Africa region..) are usually calculated on the 'benchmark' wholesale crude prices set at one of three different market places -- London, New York and Singapore; (Australia works on the wholesale price from Singapore..).

THAT'S WHY people in Britain and Europe might see petrol prices moving at different times and rates then with the Americas, or in Australia and Asia..

Oh, absolutely...dropping those prices at the pump has cut into those mega profits that the refineries {ie BP/Phillips} and all of the local stations that operate under their LOGO's...paid for that inventory that they cut to stay competitive.
Here in my great state; we're accessed so many add on TAXES that our prices stay at least 55¢ higher then our 4 bordering states for price per gallon.

Now that the summer months are approaching it's time for the refineries and their local retail gas stations to recoup that lowered profit margin and STICK IT TOO the end user! Twisted Evil
