Mass murderer treated better than Political Activist

An international media campaign is targeting the Danish legal system’s treatment of Pirate Bay founder Gottfrid Svarholm Warg by arguing that convicted Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik receives more humane conviction than the Swedish hacker.

The campaign points out that Breivik, who killed 77 people on 22 July 2011, has been allowed to enrol in political science courses remotely through the University of Oslo and is working on a book, while Warg is held in solitary confinement and denied reading material despite not yet being convicted of a crime.

Can we stick to the point in hand Nicko? Here we have a man accused on hacking and setting up websites authorities don't like, who has already been acquitted of charges in Sweden, and he is being kept in those conditions, while that scumbag Breivik, who gunned down all those children in cold blood, is allowed to study for a degree and have all the books he wants! That bastard should have been kept in isolation for the rest of his natural life.

This one is easy to answer.Bring back the death penalty & the problem is solved.

As long as lefties are allowed to run things,situations like this will continue because they want human rights for all people......including the likes of Breivik.

Problems like this are unsolvable because the system is unworkable.

See, terrorists are horrible people, who torture and kill. That sort of behavior simply cannot be tolerated within our civilized borders.

So if we catch any terrorists, we will not hesitate to prove that our way of life is superior to theirs -- by torturing them and killing them.

I believe I did answer the question, but to be more explicit:

If you're saying you're the good guy, you don't mirror the actions of the bad guys. You lead society forward by not doing bad things. If murder isn't civilized, civilizations shouldn't murder.

Everybody who sets a bomb to kill people thinks they're punishing someone. Killing isn't punishment; it's revenge. The first priority of a nation-state when it comes to crime is protecting its citizens -- it's not seeking vengeance, and it's certainly not making each of its citizens an accomplice in vengeance killings.

I disagree,
I dont have a problem with the treatment of Breivik.
I have a problem with the way the treat an innocent man, a man that has faced court and the prosecution did their best and he was ruled not guilty of any crimes. Why is he still in Jail? he has already served more time than appropriate for a hacking offense.
That is a real perversion of Justice, they couldn't even convict him in their own system with rules they had written yet he is STILL in Jail in Conditions worse than Breivik, for doing nothing but allowing the free transmission of digitals 0's and 1's.
